    Remembering the old days… 😉

    @abland was amazing and we wanted to see his posts/replies because there’s always something to learn new from him.

    i switched my self from Artisteer and WP Tuxedo a years ago… i don’t remember if i created a theme using Artisteer in last year or so and i stop visiting wpthemecity.net.. i just visited it few days back and see @Nick taken over the wpthemecity.net .. that’s really a nice thing to know because at last we have someone on the project whose here for long time (atleast until Artisteer is around).

    my concern for switching away from Artisteer and WP Tuxedo was unavailability of Trevor (or less interest in his product) and i don’t want to spend time in a product which will get lost just like templateer (if i remember the correct name … lol)

    but as our friend Nick is on board.. i will be visiting the site more and will get involve more in forums ..just to take his burden of replying to all queries..

    Good luck @Nick .. Good Luck to all WP Tuxedo lovers…
    hopping to get something best and stable for theme designers like us…

    default Woocommerce Sale icon margins are

    margin: -0.5em -0.5em 0 0

    so if you just use this code with using !important this will do the job.

    .woocommerce ul.products li.product .onsale {
      margin: 0 !important;
    }

    screenshot1 attached.

    and for tabs target specifically woo tabs.. by following code

    .woocommerce div.product .woocommerce-tabs ul.tabs li {
      overflow: hidden;
    }

    see attached screenshot2.

    I haven’t inspected anything why it’s happening… but use this code to get them quickly fix..

    for sale icon

    .woocommerce ul.products li.product .onsale {
      margin: 0;
    }

    for tabs

    ul.tabs > li {
      overflow: hidden;
    }

    as Trevor posted link in theme help short-code section, you can read all options available for you and explanation here http://codex.wordpress.org/Template_Tags/get_posts

    so if you want your posts from all categories to display on a page randomly use this

    [tux-list-posts orderby=rand]

    and if you want posts from specific category display randomly use this short-code

    [tux-list-posts category=2 orderby=rand]

    where 2 is category ID..

    Hello Doug

    downloaded zip may be corrupted while downloading.. so try to download again.

    i attached screenshot of the zip file downloaded from tuxedo and the .artp file which i unzipped from zip folder.

    (also note the file sizes in the attachment….)

    if you are seeing an file named “WP Tuxedo 1.5” without extension “.artp” then your system enable the option to hide extension for known file types… in this case you just double click the file and you will see successfully installed message.

    This issue been already discussed on forum…
    Edit the functions.php file and find for “wptitle.inc” .. you will see line something like

    include ‘/includes/wptitle.inc';

    remove first / from line so it becomes

    include ‘includes/wptitle.inc';

    Trevor said, he will fix the issue in next release… i haven’t tested new version yet… so i am not sure if it’s fixed or not.. but surely by removing / from include calls in functions.php file will fix the issue.

    setting up locals to test out framework..

    what you mean by “so SASS is out”.. are you giving option that choose SASS or Less or saying SASS is no more… ??

    i used SASS on my projects and it gives development a nice boost… so my vote will be with SASS.

    further will post again after testing out framework.

    Hello Trevor…

    i have finished three sites in last week based on Genesis framework using EPIK child theme for same client and i really like the way they hook things and allow us to customize theme base on our requirements….
    i also studied tutsplus course on how theme frameworks work and i like the topic of action hooks to your WordPress theme (as this is mostly done in Genesis framework… here’s link if anyone interested http://code.tutsplus.com/tutorials/adding-action-hooks-to-your-wordpress-theme-framework–cms-21664 )

    so this sounds great to me that we have framework coming out from you.. which ideally following Genesis (not in code or other but basics of how they do things in Genesis)…

    i am happy to test it out and love to share my experience on it if i get to test it..

    surely i am in…
